I've always believed that in any environment, the cabin of a 747 or an executive boardroom, there's a chance to connect, to challenge, and to move people forward.
Over two decades of international corporate experience across 14+ industries, including Visa International, Amazon, Porsche, KPMG, KFC Brands and Rotana, working with over 120 cultures and nationalities. Today: behavioural specialist, certified psychometrician, certified GenAI subject-matter expert.

2006 · Take-off
Youngest cabin manager in the fleet
My career began in international aviation. By 25 I was Etihad's youngest Cabin Manager; two years later, Cabin Manager of the Year. Aviation taught me what I now teach: decisive action under pressure, clear communication when the stakes are real, and how to lead a team you've only just met.
2018 · Crew to culture
From the cabin into Learning & Development
I moved into L&D and led the function at scale for some of the biggest names in hospitality, Etihad Airways, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts and Rotana, culminating as Corporate Director of Learning & Development and Talent Management. Thousands of leaders, every stage of their careers.

2024 · The personal shift
Diagnosed, and a new voice
Joined Biz Group as Senior Leadership Consultant. Diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, and became a voice for neurodivergent leadership, empathy-first facilitation and psychological safety at work. Launched the Leading with Andrew show.
2025 · Brand & build
AndrewON, ONward & the framework
Rebranded the show to AndrewON (new format + studio, coming soon). Evolved the 2020 J.U.M.P. tool into the J.U.M.P.Shift Framework™, adding I.I.I.: Illuminate, Inspire, Ignite. Launched the ONward newsletter, and took live, on-stage podcasting to HR & L&D events with organisational psychologists Soha and Ghenwa.

Home, and what's next
Recently back in Cape Town after 18 years away, braving his first winter home. Founded The ONmedia Collective (Pty) Ltd, a portfolio of platforms, products and partnerships built to help people get unstuck and lead with clarity. Upgrading ONward with premium content, building new digital tools, and, after real demand, two new coaching packages.
